I am bored out of my tree, and figured, hey! I have a lot of vid ideas floating around the brain, so why not jot them down somewhere? I figured I'd make it all official and stuff, do the sticky post trick and everything, because that way I can easily find the list and just update it whenever I have new ideas - or, just as well, ERASE some stuff that I just don't see myself vidding anymore. (ETA: NEVERMIND, I HATE STICKY POSTS ROFL, I KNEW IT WOULDN'T LAST. I always hated doing the ENTRY BACKDATED/DATE OUT OF ORDER thingy, so. But I lasted a week! NEW RECORD!) ♥ Hi, everyone! I don't normally post my fanvids to my personal journal, but this vid held me as a slave for so long that I feel like it's ENGRAVED ON MY SOUL. And this journal is my soul by extension. Or something. Anyway, I know only like 5% of you care about Merlin and the fanvids I make about it, so NO HARD FEELINGS IF YOU JUST SCROLL ON BY. AS LONG AS WE STILL LOVE EACH OTHER.

This video basically stemmed from frustration with season2!Arthur. I know that some people don't see much of a change (and I AM JEALOUS OF ALL OF YOU), but I feel like he's taken quite the rewind. He'll always be a prat, no question about it, but I disagree with the what we now know was deliberate regression of Arthur, particularly in his relationship with Merlin. I feel like there could have been other ways besides a ~character reset~ to remind us of the master/servant tension; many other ways to have Arthur be selfish/arrogant enough that Gwen blew up on him. I just miss the Arthur from The Moment of Truth and The Labyrinth of Gedref - still a prat, still sometimes childlike, but also sweet and tender where it matters.

AND THUS, THIS VIDEO. I started making it right after 2x02 and didn't end up finishing it until earlier this week (FAIL) but I'm glad I fussed over it for so long, because a lot of other appropriate footage came in the following eps. ♥ I basically did it to remind myself that Arthur is really actually wonderful, and he has, after all, shown himself capable of change.

from youtube summary: Each verse/chorus is about his relationship with a different person: Morgana, Gwen and M-M-Merlin. I really like Arthur's dynamics with all of them and wanted to concentrate on each as their own entity, you know? Also, it doesn't matter if you ship any of the pairings or not - I ship everything on this show, really. Admittedly, I like some ships more than others (and if it shows, I'm sorry!) but I really sincerely DID want to give everyone equal time.

MORGANA
Arthur's original voice of reason. Their relationship is full of bickering and manipulation, but there is a solid affection there. Her verse&chorus is mostly about the underlying love Arthur has for her, and in turn, the faith Morgana has in him.

GWEN
Gwen's "you're not a child" rant was one of the big moments that made me want to vid this song. It's clear that Gwen believes that he will be a better King and therefore the key to a better Camelot, but acknowledges that he has a long way to go concerning people skills.

MERLIN
(My favourite, I MEAN WHAT)! Their relationship got the climax; I just started giggling whenever I imagined vidding A/M to lyrics like ~the shine of it has caught my eye~ and that was honestly the first reason for why Merlin got the bridge, TO BE FRANK. But I actually think it's a bit appropriate; Merlin's his strongest supporter, the first to challenge Arthur, and I thought it'd have more impact if he was last. "Let me slip away, let me slip against the current" was originally going to be much more epic and less chaotic than it is, but it kind of took on a life of its own. It first started with the theme of them saving each other, and then it became, AWW LOOK AT THEIR PRETTY SMILES. I guess, I mean, if I pretend like I'm not shallow, we can say it's about showing both the grand scale of their destiny together AND, less dramatically, their lovely friendship. YEP. THAT'S WHAT IT IS. COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY.

AND THEN THIS 2x06 CLIP HAPPENED. ♥ ♥ THE EP HASN'T AIRED YET; it will later today, and this clip first aired yesterday, but I'll keep my thoughts~ hidden for those who would rather remain unspoiled.

THOUGHTS → ~HOPE DANGLES ON A STRING~. YES. This is the Arthur I love. ♥ ♥ How much do I wish this scene had been accessible while editing? Could've been so good for I am cleaning up so well! I love you, unicorn funeral, but THIS. Such a beautiful moment. Although they had some cute scenes in 2x04, I prefer this Arthur/Merlin by a landslide. I'VE ONLY BEEN WANTING THIS FOREVER AND EVER A;KJ. The urgency of the moment, the lingering behind and all of the unspoken emotions. Just. ♥ ♥ HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THEM? You know, one of the only issues I had with Arthur/Gwen in 2x04 was the line "I care about her more than anyone" (wut), and I think scenes like this really betray that. He cares for all of them in different lights - Morgana, Gwen, Merlin. Hopefully Morgana will get her moment of the season soon, but for now, this one with Arthur/Merlin is my favourite. ♥ His voice! His face when Merlin's gone! It's been the first real indication to me all season that he would protect Merlin in the line of fire, and that he's truly taking the "you must learn to listen as well as you fight" advice to heart. I mean, when he says "we've been through this" - the slight guilt there, the remorse at having not listened when they had all the time in the world; it's just heartbreaking. It always appears that it's when Merlin leaves Camelot that Arthur really reevaluates himself and his position and, just, everything. PENDRAGOOOOON. WELCOME BACK, LOSER. <<

eta: JUST FINISHED WATCHING THE EP IN FULL AND OMG. :') He's back! My favourite Arthur to date. He was just amazing. And all the ships were on form this ep! Adorable interaction between Arthur/Morgana, a very genuine and sweet and UNDERSTATED moment between Arthur/Gwen (no theme music! yay!), and ARTHUR/MERLIN FG;SKJ. THEY'RE SUCH BOYS. THE ALMOST HUG FREAKOUT LOL I LOVE THEM. That was just beautiful. Arthur needs to continuously be written like this. AMAZING. I have so many more thoughts on this episode and I want to flesh them out, but I'll save that for another entry!

I have only watched it once! I watched it with spread_the_fun with a LULZY~ commentary as we went, so my apologies if this is not as serious business as IT PROBABLY SHOULD BE for my first official THOUGHTS ON MERLIN, LET ME SHOW YOU THEM! post, but hang in there. I promise my ears will adjust to that side of the coin eventually. DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE. EARS. COIN. OTHER HALF. I'm really trying here.

What I Loved Like You Do Not Even Know:

Well HELLO, NEW SWOOPING, PANNING CAMERA SHOTS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON MERLIN? Welcome to the ~show. Already I could tell this was gonna be epic. As I told spread_the_fun, either HOGWARTS STAIRCASE ZOOM SHOT epic, or LET'S TRAVEL DOWN THE HALLS OF TITANIC~ swooping shot epic. What with the blue shiny heart of the ocean on that old tomb's chest, I AM GOING FOR TITANIC. ~Never let go.
The (promised!) Arthur/Merlin banter. ♥ ♥ ♥ HEARTS IN MY EYES. I wouldn't be surprised if Bradley and Colin are allowed to adlib at this point, because everything feels so much more ~natural. CLUMSY JABS. CLOTPOLE. THEY ARE ADORABLE.
CLOTPOLE. In general. On its own. NO WORDS.
All of those new exterior shots! SOMEONE was listening to Katie in the commentaries. THERE WERE LIKE FIFTY BILLION IN THIS EP. MOSTLY AT NIGHTTIME. PRETTY CAMELOT. ♥
GAIUS AND MERLIN. Their father/son relationship is so amazing, I mean, Richard and Colin are acing it. In season one, Merlin's emo moments and Gaius' reactions were usually pretty disjointed and awkward, but post-finale, after the whole epic rainy mountain adventure, they've gotten visibly closer and Gaius, a little less blunt and all the more sweet. ♥ Also, the "What's wrong?" -- "Nothing" exchange was totally realistic, at least in mah (current!) experience as a ~moody teenager. AND THE HUG/PRIDE AT THE END. OH, SO CUTE. :')
Morgana being like YOU THINK I'M GOING TO SLEEP WHILE THE RAVEN OF MY NIGHTMARE ATTACKS THE KINGDOM? LOL OKAY HAVE FUN WITH THAT. Honestly, as much as I just awwed over Gaius and Merlin, THEIR STUBBORN REFUSAL TO ENLIGHTEN MORGANA BUGS ME TO DEATH. According to episode summaries [SPOILAH], that very well may change, so I do hope that the tiny but revealing bits of Morgana's irritation are also FORESHADOWING BITS.
Arthur/Gwen! Aww! It was a bit intense, LOL, what with their theme music and everything, but overall, very cute. I like that Gwen isn't immediately all HAY I'M FALLIN FOR YOU (except she literally sort of fell on him, but you get my point). She no doubt LIKES Arthur, but I can tell they won't write her as immediately falling into his newfound ~charm towards her. I imagine she's grown up finding him arrogant and is secretly annoyed that she CAN'T fully hate him because at the end of the day, his crazy butt still has a noble and kind heart. I'm pretty sure she wants that part of him to be more prominent than the other, so she'll make him work. It'll be messy, but likely brilliant. I love the Bradley/Angel chemistry; some people say it's nonexistent, but naw, it's totally there, just a bit less IN YO FACE as the bickering and rivalry between Arthur/Morgana. I think Bradley and Angel will actually sell this a lot better than what people are giving them credit for right now. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even ship Arthur/Gwen yet and it is THE LEGEND OF ALL LEGENDS! Have some faith~.
This actually rages me more than it makes me go LOVELOVELOVE, but it's a good, effective kind of rage: Uther's lecture on not wanting to be superstitious and send a ripple of fear through Camelot about suspected magic. UM, OKAY. I'M READY FOR ARTHUR TO CALL OUT YOUR HYPOCRISY NOW, KING GILES. Good job, Anthony Head! How can someone so adorable and giggly IRL infuriate me so much on Merlin? THE ANSWER: ~TALENT~.
SPEAKING OF WHICH. I feel like Bradley mostly gets the JIZZING IN MAH PANTS reaction from this fandom, so I want to say, OH, HIS ACTING IS LOVELY. His comedic timing on that whispered ~THE HONOUR~ is perhaps my favourite thing in the entire episode. ♥ He is also really good at subtly showing how Arthur has come to be genuinely fond of Merlin, even though he's VERY INDIRECT ABOUT IT, which I will touch on later, but again: that's subtlety. I said this in myfoolisheart's party post, but in the stable scene, I feel like his concern as a FRIEND was pretty apparent in his face. For all of Arthur's pratness, I think part of him just has this subconscious feeling that Merlin isn't as open with him as Arthur tends to be in return, so he's always trying to figure him out and gets frustrated when he just. doesn't. GET IT. ~There's something about you, Merlin. I can't quite put my finger on it~. YEAH, THAT'S STILL THERE. And I think he doesn't know how to deal with it, so he says things like SHUT UP MERLIN OFF TO THE CELLS because he's irritated not so much at Merlin's (sometimes genuine, in this case FRAMED) incompetence, but the fact that at the end of the day, he doesn't know all of Merlin. FOR NOW. :D DUN DUN. Really, we sometimes don't understand that as the audience, because we are all-seeing, but I imagine to anyone who doesn't know The Secret? Merlin's something of a strange enigma, even weirder because he probably seems so ordinary and idiotic and clumsy, but. There's still something about him.
Which, HOLLA, flashback to hands-behind-back manhandling from the pilot. YAY.
And last but not least COLIN, COLIN MORGAN, WHAT. There is a reason he is Merlin, okay, I don't care if you think his ears are funny! Or if you can't look past his crazy sharp cheekbones! He was ~stunning~ in this episode. I felt like nothing was over-the-top on his part; he hasn't become a cariacture of his own portrayal, and that is good. I think everyone brought new levels to their performance, but I definitely felt like we got a much more mature Merlin. Like he's not ancient and wise and bearded or anything, but I think he's growing up and is starting to see the big picture, how much he can't take of the secrecy anymore. He's still a quirky little loony bird, and I like that he's still young and vulnerable (see: "oops, sorry!" beater slap ♥). He's human and boyish in that respect, but there was still room for him be genuinely upset; it's not about wanting credit and glory and ~all the girls~ anymore, it's about wanting honest respect and friendship from Arthur. And I found that Colin played that awesomely, and it is only ep1 of season two, so omg HOW MUCH MORE ANGST WILL WE ENDURE. He emos so prettily, like, I'm not complaining, but some of his scenes were really heartbreaking - the exit from the stables (HEART! SHATTERED! EVERYWHERE!), his ~everything I do~ speech, etc., etc. D: Colin seems most surefire in his portrayal of Merlin, because I think everyone else still has an air of mystery around the future of their character, but he's got the somewhat burdened security of knowing that Merlin will get more powerful, and might have to explore that on his own. ~~Or with that watery tart I MEAN WHAT~~. What I'm trying to say is, COLIN'S GOT THIS - everyone does, really, but weirdly I don't think he gets enough credit for his subtle but ~effective~ growth. AND HE REALLY SHINED IN THIS EPISODE. So sweet and broken and adorable and MERLIN JUST NEEDS A HUG. SPEAKING OF WHICH, WE BETTER BE GETTING AN ARTHUR/MERLIN ONE SOMEDAY, BECAUSE THIS. LACKAGE. WILL. NOT. DO. I am thinking either post-epic battle or after The Magic Is No Longer Secret. ♥

Things That Made Me Go ~HMMMM~:

No new opening credits? :( BOO. I thought they'd for sure have new ones, because the old images are from ~monsters and ~swordfights of season one, but alas! We have been scorned. Music still epic as ever though.
Although endearing and funny, MERLIN ON ALL FOURS SO ARTHUR COULD MOUNT HIS HORSE. WHAT. From the BFI reports, I thought that'd be more sarcastic on Merlin's part, but NO IT WAS TOTALLY LIKE, A GENUINE SERVANT DUTY. Oh, even Pilot!Merlin would have too much dignity for that. What has happened? My only guess is that things got kind of awkward after that goodbye scene in the finale, so they're all like LOL ABORT, REGRESS TO OLD WAYS FOR AWHILE. Which brings me to:
PRAT!ARTHUR. And I know, I may sound a bit wishy-washy because I just contemplated what might be some motivation for his pratness, but THERE IS ANOTHER SIDE OF PRAT!ARTHUR, and that is EARLY SEASON 1 PRAT! ARTHUR, and oh my god why are you back? D: YES, HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A PRAT AND MOST OF THE TIME HE'S LOVABLE WHEN HE'S BEING A DICK, but as other people have said, particularly thisissirius in her review, it's like a MAJOR rewind on the prat scale. I'm just going with my unspoken awkwardness theory in regards to Arthur/Merlin, because the guy seems TOTALLY FINE with everyone else. Like, maybe it was just Gwen's cleavage that had him tripping over himself, but he could not thank her quickly enough. AND THAT WAS ROUND ONE FOR GWEN, OKAY. Merlin has had like EIGHTY rounds, and he hasn't really been properly thanked, even in situations like this one where Arthur knew more than usual about what Merlin had done for him. Sure, it's totally their dynamic for Arthur's thank you to be in the fashion of LOL HERE'S MY ARMOUR WELCOME BACK TO WORK, but I can feel that getting old ~fast. I now see what Bradley meant about letting their relationship get stale; it can't just be like "I saved Arthur's life and someone else got the credit haha déjà vu!" all the time anymore. :( THERE MUST BE PROGRESS. C'MON, TEAM MERLIN.

Stuff Too Hard to Break Into One Category:

MORGANA'S SCREAM AFTER THE RAVEN DREAM. As spread_the_fun said: REALLY? IT'S A RAVEN? LOL idk, I just don't think every nightmare she has is worth a scripted scream. I'm always more chilled by the ~shaking reactions, to be honest, where she just kind of sits up in confusion and quiet fear. YOU KNOW. When I dream about birds, I'm just like ~wat~ not AHH DOOM DOOM DOOM.
Merlin using magic where, again, anyone who hasn't temporarily lost hearing/sight can CLEARLY WITNESS HIM. I was picky about that in season one as well. BOY NEEDS TO LEARN SOME NON-VERBAL SPELLS, because every time he publicly~ uses magic to save and/or playfully torment Arthur, I'm like GURL WHAT ARE YOU DOING. Same goes with Gaius and his ARE YOU CONTEMPLATING MAGIC *AGAIN* MERLIN, OH MY GOD, MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC! but that didn't really happen in this ep, LOL. GOT CARRIED AWAY. But c'mon, not doing a good show of keeping the magic secret. (ASIDE, THOUGH: I DID LOVE THE BOAR/BEATER SCENE. COLIN IS SERIOUSLY ROCKING IT, I DON'T EVEN KNOW.)
DRAGON. THAT PROMISE. OH GOD. I am terrified~. On one hand, I am impressed the show was bold enough to make Merlin bury himself with that negotiation right off the bat, but on the other, FEAR. FEAR EVERYWHERE. WHAT IS THAT THING PLANNING. UNLESS IF INVOLVES TWINKLY MUSIC (spread_the_fun CALLS HIM TWINKLES) AND CRYPTIC ARTHUR/MERLIN RIDDLES, I CARE NOT.

In Which I Show My Shallow Side: My Other Half. Of the Coin. EARS!!!

Arthur has taken to prancing around his chambers with no shirt. WHAT IS THIS DEVELOPMENT. IS IT SUMMER ALL THE TIME? IS IT FANSERVICE? WHATEVER IT IS:

Merlin's fluffy new hair! So adorable! It's a subtle change, but I love it. He looks a bit older, too, which isn't really a show decision, rofl, just Colin getting older LOL, but I love him. He looks GREAT.
DARK!MERLIN IS BEAUTIFUL. FAKE SHADOWY DARK!MERLIN, PLEASE MAKE MORE APPEARANCES. Also, keep busting open that cell. WITH YOUR EYES. So badass. ♥ ♥
The amount of times Merlin grinned like a crazy person in this ep was THROUGH THE ROOF. I APPROVED SO HARD. Allow me to show you through the power of SCREENCAP MONTAGES (ONLY TWO PICTURES, THOUGH, BECAUSE I'M HAVING A HARD TIME REMEMBERING THEM ALL. TOO MUCH CUTE):

BUT THE LADIES DESERVE LOVE TOO. Okay, everyone goes on about how hot Katie is, so I'm just going to say OH HI ANGEL COULBY, YOU ARE EQUALLY AS GORGEOUS. Holy crap. I love her eyes! ♥ Brown eyes can be beautiful too. And her new wardrobe! I approve, Arthur approves, Morgana approves (and probably BOUGHT IT FOR HER), and Merlin approves somewhere at some period in time where he is not emo-ing over Arthur's not-love. GWEN, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Morgana, you are adorable all curled up in your white nightgown/dress/whatever, all freaked out and omniscient on the bed. BUT GAIUS IS STILL THE PRETTIEST. HUGS TO THIS ENTIRE ADORABLE CAST.

What I'm Excited About (based on the s2 preview):

WHICH MEANS I'VE GOT WOMEN'S STUDIES AND PHILOSOPHY TODAY. Gotta take a bus from the train station to Oshawa~ (three cities away from here), and I'll be smooth sailin'. The nerves are more from fearing the unknown, or so Dumbledore would say, so once I fall into routine, I'll be cool. :D ♥ And all my classes are in one building instead of scattered everywhere, so I lucked out on that part. Less likely to get lost! Anyway, enough school talk, I'm already over it.

THANK YOU MUCHLY TO driftingaway for my new Meeeeerlin header, it has lit up my life considerably. All I need is for my last class of the week to be over, and then I can be FULLY excited for the SEASON 2 PREMIERE (!!!) on Saturday without any barriers blocking my squee. YAY! I've also started watching Legend of the Seeker and I ADORE IT and the people and cinematography are gorgeous, New Zealand ~forever, etc. ♥ Love all around! I still have to make that big ~MY NEW FANDOM THOUGHTS~ post, don't I? So many to share! Maybe I'll share my Merlin thoughts along with my ep201 fangirling.

For now, I made another Merlin vid! This one's an ensemble. It took me 80 years and I have conversations with spread_the_fun to show for it, so I have a mixture of pride and exhaustion whenever I think about it.

I'm sort of sad because the Merlin fandom isn't very big on leaving YouTube feedback, but I've got some lovely things said on merlin_tv, which I still need to reply to. I think this fandom is more invested in the fic area WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL I WILL NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT, but sometimes it is a bit disheartening to not know if fans like your stufffff. Perhaps I need more Merlin subbers. IDK! 20 comments isn't bad at all, and they're all SO NICE and epic, and it's not about numbers, at the end of the day. With a vid that wore me out this much, I guess the best payoff would be that I FINISHED IT. ♥

I can never even pick favourite characters or scenes because the whole thing blends together as this super mega foxy awesome hot cloud of beautiful. :') ♥ See my userpics for just how obsessed I am. Honestly, though, this musical has made me believe in the existence of Pigfarts school, a BFF bond between Voldemort and Quirrel, and that Harry is ~totally awesome!~ at guitar. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! REALLY.
I READ THE AMAZING FREAKING shoebox_project (PDF'S here) and oh my GOD. For those who don't know what it is (lol whatever I'm sure there's like 0% of you!), it is an HP Marauder era fic, covering their sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts, plus some time post-school. Probably the best fic I've ever read in my whole life. It sucked me in and I devoured it in two days. So funny and real and ow it hurt my heart at so many times but made me freak out at others. I flailed, I cried, I wanted chocolate. ♥ Remus and Sirius are darliiing, I can't get over how cute they are, and the James/Lily is like, perfection. Peter's just floating lol but even he has really amazing characterization, kinda heartbreaking too. It's just, you know, READ IT, if I'm not the last person alive who hadn't, that is!
My love for adorable Shoebox Remus has also extended to a massive crush on David Thewlis. Adult Lupin in the movies, you know? OH MY GOD. HE IS ADORABLE.
Totally unrelated but that reminds me: I was watching the trailer for The Lovely Bones yesterday ♥ and Peter Jackson looks AMAZING. I gotta stop flailing over the older men. But dude do I want to see that movie. + Alice in Wonderland, Time Traveler's Wife, 500 Days of Summer, Paper Heart, etc. Gorgeous movies. ♥

PRETTY COOL, I THINK. The only thing I'm iffy about is Tuesday and the night class, but I love Philosophy, so I'm willing to do it. There's a Subway on campus and in a plaza across the street, so I'll probably be having Subway for dinner a lot on Tuesdays. ♥ Oshawa is a mere thirty minutes away from my house, so there's no need to live in residence. I'm REALLY excited. ♥ The schedule is tight, but it's the way I prefer it. I've got good time management and I don't break too much under pressure. It'll be good to have those days off as well, because then I can focus and use that time for studying and catching up on essays and whatever. Woo!

My first day is the 15^th of September! There's an orientation thing on the 11^th, though, which is the Friday before. It's called Get Green day. Woo~.

I HAVE A LAPTOP NOW. :') I got it yesterday! For university purposes, mostly, but we're going to a cottage in Buckhorn from the 15^th-22^nd and I am planning on bringing it with me. My whole freaking family is going, really! Myself, my sister, my parents, Aunt Gina and her boyfriend Chris and his two daughters Marisa and Lexi, cousins Michelle and Christopher, probably Michelle's boyfriend, Melissa and baby Emily, and Nanny. AHH CRAZINESS. I'm gonna die. I'm not that excited to be honest. I'm the shy one in the family and the only one I really bond with is my sister and Nanny, rofl. Michelle and I used to be close but now it's just awkward, and she'll be with her boyfriend all the time if he comes, so meh. Maybe I'll play with Christopher and Melissa's baby! She's just so precious.

So wow, that covered a lot! University courses, vidding, fic, lalala. FUN TIMES. I vidded a lot this morning for Nicole's present. Manipping is fun! Now I'm gonna take a break and PLAY THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE PC GAME. :O Oh, yes, yes I will. I get so competitive, remember me with the Basilisk last year? Jesus.

By the way, I think you should all know that Ginny is the worst ever in this game. She taunts Harry. She makes him make potions for her ("but be quick, because I want to go to Hogsmeade!"), which results in REJECTION (Harry thought he was going with her, but when I came back with my potion made with love, she was like OH LOL WHAT I'M GOING WITH DEAN. Excuse me?) There was also this romantic music that cut off really abruptly when she rejected him, LOL. She also yells crap at me when I mess up in Quidditch ("forget to clean your glasses this morning, Potter?") LIKE, GET OUT OF MY LIFE. Everyone in this game is just so crabby, including Harry. Hermione does not stop nagging me about being top in potions, Ron is like blahblah why didn't you help me in potions, go distract Lavender for me, I hate Hermione, and oh my god WHAT IS THIS GAME? I swear I've done nothing but make potions, run aimlessly around Hogwarts, set off fireworks with Luna on the way to Slughorn's party, play Quidditch about fifty times, and THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU PLAY OUT THE BOOK WITH THE LEAST ACTION, I SUPPOSE. It's fun though. It really is.

I also had a bizarre dream last night that was a fusion of Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland.

Nicole was there, except she looked and sounded like Alexz Johnson, but I knew she was Nicole! She was with me in school, and Voldemort from the Potter Musical was our supply teacher. I had a HUGE crush on him and Nickles was like trying to make me jealous by participating in class and whatever and I was like OMG I'M GONNA KILL HER. Then she disappeared and so did like everyone, including me, and then it was ~HOGWARTS~. But there was a war going on and it was like a video game, running around and it made me dizzy and whatever. I think I was Harry. I could hear Hermione's voice telling me to run and hide places, and then Bellatrix found me, and then Harry was flying through the air, down the rabbit hole, like in Wonderland. And then he/I woke up and McGonnagal was the Queen of Hearts and she was playing with a deck of cards. Harry was like "hi?" and she was like ~go find Miss Granger~ and then Harry finds her in some bedroom and they like cried and hugged and almost kissed and stuff and I DON'T EVEN KNOW. :| I woke up shaking and crying! NOT REALLY. I was just like "wut", pretty much. I was gonna give a condensed version of the dream on Twitter, but it's down at the moment. OH, MY LIFE.
